America's favorite beauty queen also happens to be the new darling of the Republican Party.
Introduced in early September as John McCain's running mate for the Presidency, Sarah Palin quickly became a political phenomenon and a household name.
Despite her unfortunate flubs on Katie Couric interviews, Palin redeemed herself at the Vice-Presidential debate between herself and Joe Biden.
But is Palin ready to take over the nation if need be?
Of course! In fact, Palin is probably more qualified than Obama, and she's not even running for President. Again, I am NOT intending to bash any specific candidate! Any negative views or qualities that I point out are merely for the sake of elevating the status of the candidate that I am trying to support!
First, let's look at the executive experience that both candidates have. Sarah Palin has been the governor of Alaska for the past 2 years, President of Alaska Conference of Mayors, and she was also a City Council member from 1992-1996. Obama, however, has had NO executive experience! Is this the kind of person that you would like to see in the white house? I would certainly hope not!
Second, let's look at the foreign policy experience that both have. Palin is the Governore of a state that borders two countries: Canada and Russia. She obviously has a handle on relations with Canada, though her relationship with Russia may not be as well known. Obama, however, chaired a Senate subcommittee on Europe. Sounds impressive, right? But wait! He never once called it into session! Oh, yeah, Obama also gave a speech to 200,000 screaming Germans.... Obama's foreign experience isn't as great as everyone hypes it up to be. In fact, it's probably just about even with Palin's, if not lower.
Third, let's see who supports our troops. Sarah Palin wants to keep us in Iraq until we have a victory, so that the men and women who have lost their lives will not have died in vain. Obama, however, wants to put up a white flag of surrender and withdraw, which will weaken the Middle East and give strength to the terrorists that we are trying to keep away.
