Palin and Obama on the same stage?

It's no secret that I love Sarah Palin; I absolutely adore her, and I love her conservative stance on so many issues. But the question is: Do you love Sarah Palin? It's a straight forward question. Most people either love her or hate her, but I obsess over her (please run again in 2012!).

Now, if there's one thing about Sarah that would make me upset, it's definitely her upcoming appearing with Obama this weekend.

She will be traveling thousands of miles from Alaska to Washington D.C. to attend the Alfalfa Club Dinner, which is primarily for the media elite. The most unusual thing is that she is avoiding the media spotlight, when most politicians come to Washington D.C. to get into the political spotlight.

I am absolutely distraught, however, that her and Obama will appear on the same stage at the dinner. Perhaps it all isn't bad news, because we can view this as a preview of the 2012 election! Palin vs. Obama! Now that would be the election of a lifetime!

Of course, there will be those who disagree. The media was unfair on Palin, and they continue to be. There are Alaskan lawmakers (Democrats, no doubt) who are spreading false rumors about Palin no longer being focused as a governor. They claim that her bid to be vice president has shifted her attention from Alaska to the national stage, which is complete crap. If she wasn't still focused on Alaska, she wouldn't have met with lawmakers about the stimulus package deal and she would have never created the political action committee.

In case you haven't figured it out for yourself yet, the Dems are out to get Sarah Palin and to destroy her for one reason and one reason only: She is the Barack Obama of the Republican party. In fact, she's even bigger...she could very well be the next Ronald Reagan.

For Palin to be a serious candidate in 2012, however, I believe that she must run for the Senate and open herself up to the media more. She needs a good campaign manager who will focus mainly on fixing her P.R. image, which I am absolutely sure can be fixed. She must also rebut any media falsehoods immediately this time around, instead of being caged up and not being allowed to respond. I want the Sarah that I saw at the GOP convention: a strong, sassy, and conservative women.

Palin 2012! And if you haven't heard of him yet, Bobby Jindal would make a great vice president, and perhaps a president someday! But for now, our hearts and minds are set on Sarah Palin and her political ambitions. Go get 'em!

I want Palin to run again in 2012 as well. She is a rock star just as much as Obama, but smarter. I saw her when she came to Burlington, NC and visited Elon University. Wow. I probably love her as much as you do. My wife just rolls her eyes whenever I mention her name. LOL!
